
Leslie Scott – In 1968 Leslie joined BOAC/British Airways flying the Vickers VC10, later moving to the Boeing 747 for 10 years before transferring to the BAC 1-11. After a brief period back on the B747, he moved to Concorde in 1994. On February 7th, 1996 he and his crew set the current world record time from New York to London of 2 hrs 52 mins 59 secs in the same airplane that’s at the Intrepid Museum in NYC, GBOAD.
He retired from British Airways in 2002. Concorde followed him in 2003. From 2005 he flew Gulfstream IVs and Vs in the US corporate world before final retirement in 2015.
